You may have noticed that this blog doesn’t have comments enabled. It’s not that I don’t want to talk to you – I’m sure you’re lovely. I just don’t believe comments add anything to a blog, other than a lot of spam messages and an occasional space for a rude stranger to shout at you.
Besides, the Internet provides lots of ways of getting in touch which are much, much better than WordPress comments. Personally, I like Twitter best. Feel free to follow me there, and send me an @ message if you’d like to respond to something on the blog.
There are alternatives, if you really hate Twitter, or if you’d like to send me a longer message in a non-public space. If you’re someone I know, you could add me on Facebook. I don’t write much on Google+, but I check it reasonably regularly, so you could drop me a line there. Like the pictures I post occasionally? I’m on Flickr, too. More of a business query than a personal chat? LinkedIn is good, too.
You could always be old-fashioned and send me an email, if you like. I respond to firstname.lastname@example.org as regularly as I can.
Alternatively, if you’re a gamer, I’m on Xbox Live as hachimaki, and PSN as hachihoshino.
